We have carefully planned our Broomhill Books to ensure that our children get a rich diet of literature throughout their time at Broomhill Primary School. Some of these books will be used as part of the narrative writing blocks each term. Others will be read aloud and shared as class reading books to promote a genuine love of reading culture, where each class has dedicated time to simply enjoy listening to a story.

The Broomhill Poetry Anthology is a compilation of carefully selected poems for children to explore and enjoy over their time at Broomhill Primary School. The four facets underpinned the selection of these poems:
